Fault rear tail light bulb houlder

Bought my 2017 astra tech line in 2018 the rear offside tail light bulb houlder is corroded I phoned lookers st helens on 05/I1/21 iwas told this is a common problem I was told it is not a recall of covered under the warranty the price for a bulb houlder is £34.48 + £44.39 for the wiring plug the car has only done about 24000 miles I wouldn't advise anyone to buy a vauxhall with service like this
