Better to avoid
AVOID!!! I have no clue how they run their business, purched a overpriced car from them 2 weeks ago I was ok with the price since it had a quite unique engine. I ignored all the small bits like scratches, one key only, moldy interior, shitty tyres etc. EML showed up after just 60 miles(4DAYS), I felt there is a vacuum leak and that this may cause the error so I called them to sort it out. They said no problem we will fix it, giving me the option to go to a local garage(they will pay for repairs but if you check the other reviews, they don't) or to their garage(after I was ignored half a day). I already have an OBD so I had a clue what the problem is but had to confirm with them so I drove 2 hours to their garage just to tell me everything is fine and delete the EML which was a Advanced Timing problem and lied to me is all good, it's just the brake light switch. Happy days, I am not a mechanic so if their guy confirmed is all good I complied. Two Days after same shit, EML on, went to a respectable garage, they used a professional diagnosis tool, same error, Advanced Timing. Called them, took my details and waited for a week, nothing,no calls no emails no nothing. Went to a solicitor to sue them or return the car, the advice was that is really hard to return a faulty car to this sort of cowboys because they might not even be regulated by Trading Standards and most likely you will end up with a faulty car and they will end up with just a fine, consumer rights are hard to be applied, If it's not an expensive car, don't bother. At this point I fixed the car at my local garage since they are not trust worthy. The first thing I asked when I purchased the car was if the oil and filters are changed and told them I don't mind doing it on my expense if they are not. Their answer was yes yes we do this to all our cars well guess what? the oil looked like it has never been changed 🤣 so this caused the Advanced timing problem. Anyways best would be to avoid rather than getting screwed over. Go to a particular, higher chances to get a good car and maybe some decent customer service. What they do most likely is to buy the used cars, put a shady MOT on them and sell them overpriced.
