I bought a 2015 grand c-max and within the first week I noticed a tyre was cracked on the outside edges. The windscreen had tons of chips and two 5mm in diameter. I called him and he said to contact my insurance company for the windscreen and the tyre was within MOT standard. He did offer to look at the car but to be honest if he’s already trying to fob me off then I am not driving to his garage for anything. Another problem occurred that I haven’t told him about, because of his attitude about the above issues I thought there’s no point. The clutch was making a little vibrating noise when pedal pressed, so I took it to a garage and was told that the clutch bearing needed replacing. I took it to another garage who said the same thing. All in I had to replace the clutch assembly, dual flywheel and slave cylinder!! Let’s just say it cost me a small fortune. I am just leaving this for all to see. The AA name and guarantee they are using to sell cars means nothing. Take a professional with you to view these cars or better still, just go somewhere else.
