Less than Happy Customer
Bought car for £3500. Developed a dangerous major engine fault immediately, cost nearly £800 to fix at a manufacturer dealer. Repair shop said that I had bought car with the issues and that they couldn't have possibly developed in the less than three months that I owned it. No warranty offered despite claiming they had. They can't provide any details of any warranty other than it was just " verbal". Refusing to reimburse repair cost. Matter now passed to Trading Standards to investigate breach of consumer rights as the car was not as described and not fit for purpose. Also claimed car had been serviced but was on minimum levels for both oil and coolant..the day it was bought!
