Not a patch on Lexus
Just purchased a used Mercedes from Listers. I was promised when I collected the car it would be like collecting a new car. On the trip to collect the car I was informed the wheels hadn’t been refurbished as promised, but would be sorted out. On handing the car over I noticed watermarks on the paintwork. I had stupidly paid nearly £600 for a paint protection coating, and this had effectively sealed in the watermarks. Joe, the sales guy, very quickly organised for the car to be collected the following morning to rectify the issues. On the drive home it was obvious the inside had only had a brief wipe over. The car was collected the following morning as promised, and returned 2 days later with the work completed. When I finally had chance to get to know the car I found the sat-nav was an old version and wasn’t updated as I was promised it would be. In summary, check EVERYTHING at the dealers before leaving. Don’t waste your money on their paint protection packages, go to a professional detailer and get a proper job done. I’ve emailed Joe a couple of times and no reply, and he’s not at his desk when I call.
