Shocking service from clueless staff.
I purchased a 67 plate GLE for nearly £30k and was constantly lied to regarding repairs to the vehicle before pick up and it had to go back after three days for the bumper to be resprayed because they forgot.The car drove terribly which was down to tracking front and rear being way out along with all four tyres being badly “feathered”.Mercedes refused to do anything about this insisting they were legal even though in certain spots they were down to 2mm, even refusing to reimburse £60 that I paid for tracking.Technician and management said there was nothing wrong with how the car handled and basically I was imagining it even though they admitted tyres were feathered.I have had to spend close to £1,000 replacing all four tyres as it was too dangerous to drive and it now drives perfectly so it was the tyres all along that were the problem along with the tracking .Mercedes have refused to accept that tracking should be a safety check before car is sold and also that those tyres on a £30k car is unacceptable so now it is with the Motoring Ombudsman.I would never use a Mercedes main dealer again as they’re no better than a back street garage.
