Stay away, dodgy & Horrible 2010
Bought a Peugeot 307 here about 11 years ago. Was about 4 years old, cant remember the mileage ~20-30k I guess. After signing the paperwork and awaiting collection I reviewed the carbon copy paper work and it had a box ticked saying I confirmed that the vehicle may have been clocked and no records to proof mileage. I never saw or ticked this box, only asked to sign. My young naïve self didnt read properly. Driving home noticed many faults and had a Peugeot garage check over the car (at my expense). Cruise control didnt work due to faulty electronic accelerator, Fly wheel was failing, low speed chip on the fan radiator wasnt working... list went on with a estimated bill of £1300 (for a £5k car). Told the garage and basically told to use the warranty I purchased (which I believe is illegal but was too young then). The warranty company did fix £200 worth of stuff but the flywheel apparently Peugeot admitted had a design flaw so the warrranty wouldnt cover it. After arguments I only got £300 out of the garage, which my now older self would have returned and not accepted. The guy running the show is what makes most people not wanting to buy cars, his treatment of customers was awful. Falling this the car cost ~£500-1000 every year for 4 years on repairs which is down to this model of car and Peugeot having a poor reputation at the time. Stay away from this garage if still operating.
