Faulty car

Sold me and my family a death trap of a car. Was told the car was ‘ready to drive away’ however engine management light came on. Took the car to my local garage to get it code read to be told the car has 20 + faults. The MOT on the car was also dodgy as it should not of passed. The worst part was Joes customer service skills. Straight away we communicated with Joe to let him know the car has faults however Joe was very confrontational and accused us of tampering with the car. We kept getting told ‘well that’s what u get for buying an old car’ ‘you shouldn’t have travelled so far to buy a car’ Thankfully after getting a solicitor involved and knowing my rights we got a full refund which he was very reluctant to give us. I am appalled with the stress you have put my family through and knowingly let us travel 2hrs to a car that was not ‘ready to go’ and letting my family drive back in a death trap.
