Please be cautious with used car

Please be cautious at Trust Ford Stockport, bought a used Ford from them which initially we were very happy with. Solved a couple of issues noticed on first glance, but when you drive it around you notice more. Parting words were “if you notice anything else just pop it back”. Funnily you phone the used car section they don’t even want to know you once they have your money, finally booked in via servicing for manufacturing defects only. Fair is fair, it’s a used car you can’t be expecting perfect. So I take it to a paintwork friend of mine for a correction on a terrible smart repair, it’s out of my own pocket but least I know it’s done right. However, he then points out to me that there are at least 4 poorly done smart repairs he can see on first glance and then also brings my attention to the bonnet and roof having rough sandpaper paintwork caused by overspray from these said poor smart repairs. All this does make you wonder what else they may have hidden. You go to a main dealer thinking you are not going to get screwed over or at least an ounce of honesty. More fool me I suppose for not having a keen eye but shame on them more so for pulling the will over my eyes. See what the finances are like after Christmas and I’ll try to rectify the bodge jobs.
