Rear brakes illegal within 6000 miles

purchased an approved used car from Blake Roan the existing mot had advisories and Blake said the items would be addressed and a new 12 month mot would be provided with no advisories. Fast forward 11 months and 6000 miles and the car failed its first mot for brake pads being just 1.5mm and an advisory for the rear brake discs - that was shown on the previous mot and Inchcape removed from the mot that they supplied??? suspect them of giving an MOT certificate to a vehicle they have not tested. Inchcape Land Rover Derby are not prepared to do anything about it. They supplied a car that rear brakes were illegal within 6000 miles and removed and advisory from an mot without doing the work. A report on MOT tester / centre has been submitted to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. I would strongly advise getting a car independently checked before collecting from Inchcape Land Rover Derby as it may be illegal and dangerous to drive within just a few thousand miles. In July 2020 at 51941 miles an Mot tester advised the rear discs were worn. In Sept 2020 at 53431 Inchcape Land Rover Derby said they were not worn and sold the car as approved with a Land Rover warranty with brake pads dangerously low at 3mm on worn discs. The car went to Guy Salmon Land Rover in Sept 2021 (this week) at 59942 miles who failed the mot for dangerous pads and advised worn discs, they have quoted to replace both as they say the discs are worn and will prematurely wear pads. I believe that Inchcape Land Rover Derby did not do the necessary checks on this car. On the telephone today they said that there Mot was correct and will not do anything about this - despite two other MOT testers saying different. It is also interesting to note that on Inchcape Land Rover Derby website page the reviews that are show are of Land Rover Chester not Derby presume they don't want to show their own reviews on the Derby page.
