dangerous company
I brought a 2010 Honda civic from LCM, for £5190 including admin fee. It turns out they the dealer or the previous customer had used touch up paint to hide chips scuffs and scratches but it was most likely the dealers as the car was practically spotless and shiney to the point were it looked like a new car. After 2 weeks scratches, scuffs smudges and botched touch up paint spots started reappearing. I called up LCM only to be hanged up on and told it was my responsibility. Got in contact with with their area manager Hassan after threatening to start a protest at their backyard and instead of admitting foul play he tried to say that all the scratches and scuffs all over the car in random places and even the smudge on my car had been the result of vandalism so then i explained that one of the scratches on the driver door while barely noticeable on their auto trader ad was actually there and there was another deep one but barely visible on left passenger side front and rear door, if you looked closer hence i dont know why a criminal would leave a deep scratch on random areas and leave a barely visible scratch on one side only. This is is when he changed his story and said that was how i brought the car. He also tried to say that there was no point in me repainting or touching up the car as it was in it's original color and wasn't that bad looking, he also said the car would lose it's value but after taking it to a body shop on the 24/08/20201, i was told that some of the colors on the car do not match. The quote to repaint the car and fix a tiny dent in the rear bumper which was also there from the start would cost a grand. Hassan did offer £600 discount if i let his company do it but why should i pay extra money to repair a fault they hid and passed onto me and why would i trust anyone of them after that.
