DISGRACEFUL SERVICE

Avoid Evans Halshaw Stockport at all costs!!!! The staff have a total non understanding of customer service. Took them two weeks to get the car I was interested in and only after several phone calls from me... they never return a call. They took a £200 deposit from me on 17th June. They invited us for a test drive at 11. We were there for 2.1/2 hours having only taken the car for a short drive, only one person allowed. We agreed to buy the car depending on value for our trade in, they offered well below the market value of our car, then asked what we would accept. We agreed a price only to find the value of the car we were buying had gone up over £2000. We were left waiting whilst they sorted it out, we asked the salesman how much longer it would take and he stated "as long as it takes"!!! We decided enough was enough and said we had to leave, they promised to ring when they had sorted the price problem and we are still waiting.......... We rang them 5 days later for the return of our money and despite being told several times that it had been processed, it has not come back. I have raised a complaint through my bank. If you are in the market for a new car DO NOT GO TO EVANS HALSHAW STOCKPORT!!!
