Discovery Sport Dilution Problem
I bought my Discovery sport from Hunters and have always had services and repaired by Hunters Guildford. Approximately a week after the last service the service light came on, so I rang hunters and they said they may have forgotten to reset, which they did while I waited. Approximately 7250 into the 21000-service period the service like shows again so I book it in only to be told the dilution rate is high and it needs an oil change (never even heard of a dilution rate) I had to make another appointment 5 weeks later to decide what to do with wires to brake pad wires and oil change. anyway, I took the car in and I was met by the most arrogant service adviser, the barley looked at me and had no interest in what I had to say he expanded if the car has done over 55000 miles Landover would not pay for the oil change, still didn’t fully understand why it needed an oil change after only 7250 miles and I clearly wasn’t getting it from him, I left taking my car with me. I rang Harwoods in Basingstoke and explained the situation to a service adviser there he explained fully what the problem was with the car, not happy with a car that is supposed to have a 21000-service interval and possibly having 2 oil changes between is hardly a 21000-mile service period anyway all booked in to have it done. I would never recommend Hunters Guildford to anyone very arrogant man when I said I was not leaving my car he stood up called to someone to get my car back didn’t look at me and just walked away. BE WORNED DO NOT USE THEM...
