Not a pleasant experience
I Bought a car from Vista Value Cars for my son to get to and from University. We took the car for a test drive and found it had a brake problem and a dead battery so Mr Keogh said he would put it through an mot and fix what needed to be fixed so we agreed to the sale . Mr Keogh contacted me to say the car was ready and had a clean mot with no advisories yet 11 days after collecting the car the brakes failed and the battery was dead. I contacted Mr Keogh who offered to show me the back brakes had been fixed and a new battery had been fitted but the problem was with the front brakes. I was not happy and asked for a full refund stating the consumer rights act 2015 but Mr Keogh was not interested in my request. I had the car inspected by two independent mechanics who confirmed 11 advisories and 2 fails on a car with a clean mot arranged by Vista value cars. Because Mr Keogh ignored my request for a refund and offered no customer service I warned him I would take legal action to recover my money but he was not interested. We ended up going to court on 28th June 2021 and I won Mr Keogh was ordered to give me my money back plus costs and interest. Would I recommend vista value cars NO.
