Double check the warranty.

We bought a car from Holmfirth Cars in May 2021; we paid the full asking price and decided to add on 12 month's extra warranty in addition to the free 6 month's warranty that came with the car. When I checked with Autotrust to see if it was valid in Europe, he said it was and it was valid until May 2022; I said that we had paid for an extra 12 months and he said no, it runs out in May 2022. I contacted Holmfirth cars to clarify the matter and he said that we had only paid for 6 months; he then waffled on trying to baffle me with his knowledge of cars, warranties etc .The bottom line is I know that I paid for an extra 12 month's warranty and he has got away with not giving me my free 6 month's warranty. I would definitely not recommend this man or the Company.
