Unbelievably poor Service Dept
Purchased almost new Astra with 800 miles. At 6,000 miles it required new engine. Car was at Frosts Chichester for 8 weeks awaiting parts that had to come from Germany (apparently!). Total lack of updates during this time. When it was finally returned it had to have bodywork done as it had been damaged whilst it was parked outside the garage for the 8 weeks! At 11,000 miles problems with transmission. Car still under warranty and I was told part would be 7-10 days which transpired into 12 weeks before garage had the courtesy to ring with an update. This was the first communication from them during the 12 weeks and by this time having given up I sold the Astra at a great loss. This was not helped by the fact they had also written "new engine fitted" on service book which didn't help when selling. Would never use them again as their customer care is non existent. The whole experience was a nightmare. However, Sam the salesman who sold us the car in good faith was brilliant but sadly he was let down by his colleagues
