I had a terrible experience with a car that I purchased from Almond Autos and I am afraid I cannot recommend them at all. I purchased a car for more than £5000 and was advised that it was safe, roadworthy and in a mechanically good condition. This turned out not to be the case at all and I had a total of 9 different mechanical problems with the car over the short timespan of 30 days. Currently the car is sitting on my drive since it is not driveable and I am still awaiting a response from Almond Autos on whether they will repair the remaining issues themselves, Authorise repair by another garage or take the car back and give me a full refund + cost of repairs.. Since I am no longer expecting a response, I escalated this to my credit card company and if needed I will take legal proceedings (small claims court). They could be ok if you are a car mechanic but unfortunately I am not and the car behaved well during the test drive. Please stay away if you want to save yourself the hassle of dealing with these people. I have had nothing but trouble.
