Nice guy but not true to his word

We brought a Kia Sportage from him and within a week the clutch went.... We had driving the car 1/2 times! He said this is not covered in warranty even though he stated “any issues come straight back to me” He did not want to help out at all and said “bad week for you” Thanks you for your help pal not!
