Shocking company run by liars
Tim bought a car from me on Motorway last Thursday. He’s been avoiding my calls despite me speaking to his salesmen and being promised a callback numerous times. The dealer usually has 48 hours to get in touch after having purchased a vehicle on Motorway. They didn’t even get in touch at all. I had to keep chasing them only to be told that they were “busy” and that they’d call me back with a more precise idea of when they could come and collect my car once they had spoken with Tim (the owner of the business who’s never in and always on his lunch apparently). Today Tim sent me an email saying he no longer wanted my car and blamed it on Motorway. He said that motorway had contacted him via email the day after he bought my car, and told him he had to pay and collect the car on that same day (Friday). That’s obviously a lie, as Motorway never told him any of that. Their policy is that the dealer has to get in touch with the buyer within 48 hours of the sale being confirmed, only to arrange inspection of the vehicle, not to buy/collect it on that same day. Tim had obviously found a car cheaper elsewhere and kept me as an option until he went and inspected that car and decided to buy it, and then ditched me, and blamed it on Motorway. What a disgrace you are Tim. Your lack of ethic and respect for your customers will catch up with you sooner or later I guess!
