Very, Very Poor Service

I bought my new car from Robins and Day Chiswick 7 weeks ago. I have been a returning customer since the mid 90s and have always received good service when buying a car, especially in the earlier years. This time I’m lost for words to describe the appalling service which I received. The car is just fine but I opted to have a paper hand book. 7 weeks later and numerous contacts but no book. When I went to collect the car I was informed that they had been trying to contact me to let me know that the car I had chosen and paid a substantial deposit on had in fact been sold to someone else. In the event that they were unable to contact me they then agreed to let me have the car. I received 2 minutes demonstration on this new car. Buying a new car is a big event for me. Paying out a large sum of money needs planning and saving. At least one should be able to have a professional handover. I have nothing to tell me how to contact the breakdown service which I am told I have for one year.
