Absolutely Terrible!!

My partner Sara and I wanted to buy a Renault Clio from this company and as we were so far away we asked for a full and comprehensive description of any faults. We were told a couple of stone chips on the front bumper. We agreed to pay a holding deposit and were not told at that time that this was none refundable. When our courier arrived to inspect the car prior to delivering it to us he found scratches and marks on virtually every panel and some pretty bad stone chips on the bonnet. The front bumper was unmarked!! Either their sales staff do not know the difference between a bumper and a bonnet (very worrying if true) or someone had not been honest with the description. When we said we were not happy with the car the salesman we spoke to said our deposit was none refundable!! Not only was the car not described properly, they were now wanting to steal our deposit money!! Bad enough that we had paid for a courier to collect and deliver the car trusting that the description we were given was accurate. When we checked further into the car, we found that it had actually been in stock around 8 months, No wonder, given the condition of the car!! I wonder how many deposits have been been on this same vehicle and retained?? Luckily my partner had paid on a credit card and we raised a dispute with the company through her bank. Our deposit was returned, my thought are if it had been paid by bank transfer we would not have seen that money again. My advice is to stay away from this company. If this is what they are like before you buy a car from them, I can only imagine what they would be like in terms of after sales service. You have been warned!!
