Awful service!

I bought a brand new vehicle (Vauxhall Crossland X Elite) on 6th March 2020 (drove it out of the showroom) after having it only 2 months the car broke down on only 460 miles with a message saying engine fault repair needed, I accepted the repair and everything seemed OK but on 25th March 2021 the car broke down mid drive again with the same message my 3 and 4 year old were in car and we had to be pushed to safety! Vauxhall collected the car, the next day I had a call to say the car was fixed! To my surprise on 28th April 2021 my car broke down again with a message saying engine fault repair needed! I had my children in the back of the car and my mother in law in the front on this occasion, we were very lucky the lorry behind us did not go into the back of us! I called Vauxhall they informed me to try and drive to the service centre, I managed to start the car up after about half an hour, after arriving to the service centre with my mother-in-law and 2 children they adviced that there was no fault code stored and handed me back the keys. I refused to drive the vehicle after the issues we've had which luckily I did as on the Friday the service manager rang to apologise and said I'm glad you left it here the engine management light has come on today! They repaired the ECU which apparently was faulty but my car broke down again on 9th May 2021. Once again they took it into the service centre and advised there's nothing they can do as there's no fault showing! They are not willing to accept my refusal of the faulty vehicle or even swap the vehicle unless it is at trade price of £11,250 even though the car is faulty and unsafe! I'm now stuck with a brand new car parked outside my house which is not fit for purpose! how they expect me to put my children's lives at risk again is a joke there's obviously a problem with the car! after paying £21,095.00 we were hoping this family car would last for at least 5-10 years! I would really like to make other people aware not to purchase from them as they do not care about the safety of their customers!! I'm now having to pay solicitors fees to take them to court!! They are not even a part of the motor ombudsman "the business you are in dispute with is not currently accredited to any of our Codes"
