Poorest support from dealership

Purchased a Velar from dealership in Leeds on 29/01/19..... In the first year I booked it into Taggarts Maryhill to complete three minor repairs under warranty. Received a call to pick my car up as all repairs had been completed, this was completely false as none of them had been completed. In the second year I booked my car in again with the same issues but also a new more major problem as I heard a noise coming from my front driver side wheel. Again I received a call informing me all was sorted apart from the noise as the mechanic could not hear it. At this point I told the. To keep the car as there was definitely a noise and it was probably the wheel bearing. Next morning I received a call telling me, good news that the mechanic had taken it out for a test drive again and heard the noise. I was advised it was a wheel bearing surprise surprise which required replacing but unfortunately they didn’t have the part in stock. The car would have to remain in over the weekend and that they would replace it on Monday. Received the call Monday afternoon and I could collect my car. Before driving off checked the original faults and yes they were still there and not touched but when I was driving home I could indeed confirm the wheel bearing was sorted and no noise. Third visit I booked the car in for the alloy wheels to be checked as they had started to show bad rust spots from inside out. Also sent photos to the customer care rep showing the rust on all four wheels. So I left it for a couple of weeks and never received any update so called the garage again and asked for an update. I was informed that my claim had been rejected a a warranty job. When I asked what my next step was they couldn’t tell me and basically told me that was the end of it as far as they were concerned. So I took it a step further and contacted citizen advice who told me after seeing the photos that I had a legitimate case and indeed would be covered by warranty. In the meantime I contacted the dealership I bought the car from who asked for the photos to be sent on. Once they seen the state of them there was no stopping them. They advised my wheels would be changed under warranty, when I arrived they would give me a courtesy car for the duration of my visit and they would provide compensation for the way I was treated. Guy Salmond Wakefield could not do enough for me whereas Taggarts could not get rid of me fast enough. I had to drive all the way down to Leeds for a job which should have been done in Glasgow !!! Oh and they completed the outstanding repairs which Taggarts had three go’s at....
