Botched repair

I bought a LandRover Freelander 2 from this company. My initial experience was very good, however the bonnet sensor developed a fault and after reporting it to Matt they had their Auto Electrician look at it and after a couple of hours gave me the car back as resolved. A day later the fault returned and Matt said that they would have to fit a new sensor. They again returned the car as repaired, now however the sensor is non functioning and appears to be “bypassed” with a wire loop in the sensor so even when the bonnet is open the sensor does not register it, which can be potentially dangerous.
