BE VERY CAREFUL! CHECK ALL DOCUMENTS!

I bought a Range Rover Vogue SE, in 2019. I was only offered an extremely short test drive, where my attention was distracted by the salesman. To be fair, I could have been more thorough, but on collecting the car and my journey home (a proper drive) I found the heated/cooled seats did not work, the adaptive cruise control did not work and nor did the blower (so foggy windscreen) After many emails of complaint, I did finally get the repairs completed. That’s the good news though! When I picked the car up, with my family, the salesman waved the service book and said, and I quote “I need to get this stamped and I’ll post it on to you” Two tears later, all communication ignored, and now I’ve lost value on my trade in against a new car, because I was unable to produce the service book, Deane Motors sold the car, as having! When threatening legal action, the response was “do what you have to do, it’s our word against yours” So be warned, there are other dealers out there who genuinely want to look after customers, and there are some that are just not bothered!!!
