Absolutely Awful!

My worst car buying experience to date! Rang up and enquired about a £30k porsche they were selling. All seemed well, lovely car but I asked about the gearbox as there is a known and very expensive fault on these cars. Was told it had been through their workshop and multi point check to find all it needed was a wiper blade. I put a 1k deposit down and agreed to travel the 3 hours plus to collect the following week. When I got there I test drove the car and there was a noise and vibration coming from the gearbox - the tell tale signs of the exact fault I'd enquired about prior to deposit! When I confronte the dealer with this he said he knew about it! He then proceeded to tell me I should buy the car and should buy an upgraded 6 month warranty to get it fixed! The car was advertised with a free 6 month warranty and he was trying to say it was 3! I ended up leaving the car, getting my deposit back and wasting 6 hours of travel. Worst ever and absolutely appalling. Major fault hidden!
