Terrible customer service
Have a service plan with Honda because they offered car collection and it made servicing and MOT very easy. They have now laid off all their drivers because of Covid so want me to drop the car in and charge me £22.50 for a loan car. Whilst I understand that we must all be flexible during this situation, they have decided to lay off staff and pass charges on to their customers as well. I expressed this opinion to the service person and pointed out that it would be better for me, under these circumstances, to use a local garage and stop the service contract henceforth. What followed was an extremely unpleasant lecture on how I need to work with them and they feel it is foolish of me to cancel the contract at this time. The policy was fully supported by the service persons manager who expressed I must be more understanding of their stance since they are having to deal with this every day. I am now trying to contact Honda Direct to cancel any dealings I have with them fullstop. Honda have made a lot of money off me through their service plan and subsequent repair costs etc, so to be treated like my opinion is nothing to them and for them to take a stance of *like it or lump it" is extremely disappointing to me. The service person was rude, the manager completely unsympathetic. Horrible, horrible experience and I expected better of Honda.
