Not Happy
I was talked into applying for finance on a vehicle on a fully refundable basis. Since applying and paying a deposit of £99 before hand (which I was told was mandatory) I had been given the news that I lost one of my main contracts of work due to the COVID pandemic. So I decided that this car was out of my budget, not to mention really far away from me - in Cornwall. When I asked for a refund, I was met with verbal abuse and told that amongst other things: “it was an insignificant amount of money that wouldn’t change anyone’s life” I followed the legal protocol in an attempt to get Aces auto mall to return the money to me. He responded by saying that I should take legal action - see photo attached. Since then he has ignored all correspondence and court requests for payment and this only leave the option of going to court to recover my money. So this is the next step, normally I’d probably let this go but after the way he spoke to me on the phone and flat out refused to give my money back this is a matter of principle.
