Do not trust this dealership
I dealt with James Ford. I enquired about an approved used 3 series they had for sale. I were sent a video of the car by James and it looked very nice indeed. He described the car as having all 4 tyres replaced with new ones when they refurbished the wheels and the car having only one owner. I were happy with this and I placed a deposit on the car. I travelled 280 miles to collect the car, upon arrival I inspected the car to see that it had only one new tyre. 2 tyres were 50% worn and one of them had only 3mm of tread. I were very disappointed, I explained I were dissatisfied and James explained there were nothing that could be done. I went to hand over the keys back to James and explained that he had simply told me lies and I would not go ahead and purchase the car. He then went to speak to a manager and agreed to knock £150 off the price of the car for me to purchase a new tyre. I agreed to this however I were still disappointed as the other tyres were not brand new with 8mm as described. On the journey back not long after I left the dealership, the tyre pressure indicator came on. I stopped at a service station to discover all 4 tyres were incorrect pressures. Readings, 26, 30, 32 and 36 PSI. I have now received the logbook back which states 2 former keepers when James told me it had only 1 owner. The first service on the car were also overdue by 4 months. It is clear this car has not gone through any approved used checks. I am booked in at my local Bmw dealer to have the car fully inspected as I simply do not trust this dealership. I did not expect this from a Bmw Dealership, this is the kind of tricks dodgey back street garages play. This vehicle has been miss sold to me there I will be taking legal proceedings.
