CON ARTISTS!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS!! I HAVE PAID NEARLY £5000 IN REPAIRS ON MY CAR This is a warning for people not to use ‘Complete car sales’ in Ramsgate,Kent In October 2019 I had discovered A classic car on eBay priced at £3,000 or there abouts . I decided to watch it and I watched it drop down and down in price. I finally got in contact with the garage in Feb 2020 and organised to go and see the car. In March we went to Ramsgate to view it. The garage were very sneaky by hiding the car at the back of a dark barn surrounded by cars and motor homes. I was told on the Ad that the car was a ‘running driving classic’. Once the car was delivered in May after purchasing it in March I started to notice little things that weren’t right. We were told the battery was dead and needed charging, in the end I ended up buying a replacement battery. I’ll give it to them the car did start. I was also told on the day I went to look at it that the gear box needed some “gear alignment”. After spending a month in the garage having the gear box done it ran and drove perfect BUT... As the mechanics put the car on the ramp they noticed the sills where made of 2 part foam, filler and some sort of chicken wire!! This was make or break for the car for me as I was stuck weather to keep it as i’d already had a fair bit of work done or weather it would have been better to get rid! I decided to keep it in the end. I got in to contact with a good friend of mine who had worked so hard making the car safe for me to use! after nearly 5 months the car is almost there. The point of this post is to warn people not to buy from this garage! They are a bunch of conmen!
